Both beautiful and encouraging prints

mommy life, product love

Hi Y’all, well the theme of this summer has been there is none. Even though we’ve had lots of fun times this summer, it still feels like the summer that got away. School is starting in less than 2 weeks and just as my 7th grader is feeling the “summer is over already” withdrawals, mommy is right there with him! LOL. But, I did get something in the mail this week, that really brightened up my day and wanted to share it with y’all!

Have you heard of @gracelaced over on Instagram? Well, if you have one, you oughta check Ruth out! She always shares such encouraging posts and really centers her daily focus on Christ. Over at Gracelaced.com (her website) in her words “I’m an artist, writer, and speaker…and I share my journey and how God’s grace intersects daily life here at GraceLaced”. In my words, she’s awesome 😉 She was having a sale and of course in normal Alma fashion, I just couldn’t miss this deal. Now, after receiving them, I totally would have paid full price for these. They are both 8×10 prints and are regular price $16 each. So anyway, here’s what I chose.

I love a lot of her work but I wanted something simple and love the simple messages on these with big truths. The first one I chose says “”You don’t have to be blooming to be growing.” On her site her description says:
Progress need not be measured by what the eye can see…He grows us in seasons when we’re flourishing as well as times when we’re not.
This reproduction of an original hand painted, hand lettered watercolor painting by Ruth Chou Simons is professionally printed on heavy textured card stock and comes backed with chipboard in a sealed protective sleeve.

The other one I chose is the verse Philippians 4:13. I love this verse because it reminds me to be content where ever He has me. This is something that can be a struggle for many people, and that definitely includes me! But this reminds me that it is Christ who makes it possible for me to have joy in any circumstance! Even the darkest of times, He’s my strength. The description she gives is this:
I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me… (Philippians 4:12-13)
It’s not just positive thinking or believing in oneself; no, it’s just the opposite: trusting in Christ makes it possible for us to know and rejoice in the best and the worst of circumstances.

Lastly here are some of my other faves that are on my wish list;)

See why I had to share? I was so excited I didn’t even frame them and already got to sharing! I love that she uses her gifts and talents to bring glory to the Lord and her work and her instagram feed is a blessing to me as she is to many others! Do any of you already follow her and are encouraged too? Is she new to you? Whatever it is, I hope sharing this can encourage you today as her work has encouraged me! Thanks for stopping by!
