My favorite Neutral Christmas Decor finds 2019

home sweet home

You guys, here we are on week 3 of November which is about the time I think we all start to really think about Christmas, bringing down all the decor from storage and figuring out what else we might want to add for this years Christmas decor.. All the while, the kids are about ready with their 2 page essay Christmas wish list that they’ve been proof reading to make sure it’s all there… And oh my goodness, am I the only one who’s in disbelief that we’re already here?! Like what, how did we get here so fast, didn’t we just take Christmas decor down?? Wow.

But even still, I have zero complaints, it’s my favorite time of the year and today I wanted to help get you started on some awesome neutral Christmas decor finds. I rounded up my favorite Christmas decor finds this season that I think are great foundational pieces to get that clean modern neutral look. These finds might also help you get ideas of some pieces you might want to incorporate this year and I’ll also be providing you with some links so you can easily shop online for those of us who want to avoid those long lines this time of year. I think after Costco, that’s pretty much all the long line I can take. LOL.

You might not recognize the room below anymore since we recently painted in here, added new flooring, added french doors, and the biggest change, making this room our dining room.

With just being in this home for about 2 months last Christmas, it was the natural choice to keep Christmas decor simple. I loved it so much, we’ll be sticking to the same game plan this year.

We were so busy with working on the house this time last year, it was tough sharing anything for Christmas here on the blog. But I did happen to snap a few moments.

Fast forward to now.. I got all my Christmas decor down from storage over the weekend and surprisingly the first thing I did was start a pile of what needed to be donated and thrown out. Basically, if it hasn’t been touched in 2 years, it was time to go. Everything else is slowly being put up and I should be done before Thanksgiving. The goal is to have the whole month to sit back and just enjoy celebrating our dear Saviors birth; bringing God glory, and us, peace!

If you want to have a better understanding about the birth of Jesus, it’s significance, what it means for me and you, here’s a great sermon/article by John Piper I was just listening to and reading.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” (Luke 2:11–14).

Here are my favorite neutral Christmas decor finds this year. Some I’m inspired by, others I’ve ordered, some I own and will be using for this years styling.

My number 1 most popular Christmas decor share so far this year is this basket tree collar. Most asked about, most requested and purchased item since I shared it.
