A Neutral Fall Bedroom Tour

home sweet home

Earlier this week I shared on the blog all about our new bedding we added to our room for a Fall refresh. The bedding was the push I needed to get our master bedroom styled for Fall but also just motivated me to take time to work on the rest of the room with just moving in 2 weeks ago.

You can see more details on our bed here. Affiliate links are included, all opinions are my own!

I really wanted this room to have a soft calming palette so we kept everything pretty neutral. I shared all about our bedroom at the last house here

Before

I took this photo of the room before we even closed on the house.

After

What a difference adding in some furniture, a rug, curtain and some accents can do for a space! Speaking of curtains, this is the first hole I made into the walls and it made it official; that’s when it hit me, we really are in a new home and it already truly feels like home!

We pretty much brought the furniture from our master bedroom in the last house along with the rug we also used.

Something new we added to our room was this new set of lidded baskets with cute leather detail sent to us from an amazing online home decor shop called Winnoby.  You guys have to check out their beautiful selection of home decor items, but be ready to stay a while because there are so much goodies to choose from!

There are a lot of these angled walls in this house that I wasn’t really a big fan of when we moved in, but they’re growing on me! And I love how the hooks fit perfect on this wall right when you enter the room. Also, the juju hats were the perfect thing to hang over our bed! I mean, honestly, they can do no wrong!

I received these Agape Fall trio candle set before we moved so I didn’t get to really enjoy them at the other house, but I was so excited to finally set them out! Oh my goodness you guys, they all smell amazing! I feel like these will be burning through the Fall and Winter months!

If you look close enough, you’d think “yup, this dresser has seen better days”. Haha! It’s funny, I’ve told my husband so many times that I’m getting rid of this dresser and upgrading. Yet here we are, 3 years later.. What can I say, there are just some Ikea pieces that are hard to replace! I think this time though, it may be on it’s last leg! And by last leg, I really just mean it’s been 10 years and I really would just love to change it up!

The print above our dresser is from CC and Mike’s print shop. It reminds me of 2 sweet memories: the tattoo my husband put on my ankle when we were dating and then a year later, 2 birds made it into one of our engagement pictures that looked just like my tattoo and now this beautiful print that will always bring back those fond memories!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great weekend! I’ll be over here still unpacking and hopefully painting our fireplace this weekend!
